In most cases, yes. The KF-SP is designed to retrofit many standard doors. As long as your door meets the lock's compatibility requirements, you can replace your existing lock without replacing the entire door. We recommend checking the door thickness and lock preparation measurements before installation to ensure compatibility.
No. The KF-SP does not require a Wi-Fi connection for everyday operation. The lock can be unlocked and managed locally using fingerprints, PIN codes, RFID cards, mechanical keys, and Bluetooth through the Simpled App. Wi-Fi is only required if an optional gateway is used for remote access features.
